“I only had two beers.” The world was spinning. It shouldn’t do that. I looked down at my empty mug, blinking at Julia. “Why isn’t my regen working?”

“Because I got you drunk, Sylar.” I could see the twinkle in her eyes. She was hammered, and she was leaking, using her empathy to make me feel it.

“Don’t like losing control.” I took a deep breath, trying to block her power.

“You said you wanted to have fun.” She smiled as I slumped back into the chair. “Enjoy it.”

“Fun for me, means murder.”

That turned her smile upside down.
