People
Who is your character's confidante? Who does she talk to when she's scared? Who does she tell when she's in trouble?
I have no one. I do talk to Akadelia, but since neither of us trusts anyone the whole confidante thing doesn't happen.
Who would bail her out if she were arrested?
If I was on fire, people would toss gasoline on me. I'd be left there to rot.
Who is her worst enemy? Why?
Peter Petrelli and/or Noah Bennett - both of them are on the top of my list. I want what Peter has, and I'm not above knowing that I'm not just talking about his power. People like Peter. I'd like to be liked. Bennett needs to die for what he did to me in Odessa. He tortured me for days on end. But I'm not going to kill him. Not until I've taken away everything and everyone he loves.
Is she a disappointment to anyone, or is someone proud of her for her accomplishments? Why?
My mother wanted me to be special. Being a watch maker wasn't good enough for her. The last thing she wanted was for me to be like my father. When I showed her how special I was, she panicked and tried to kill me. She died, but it wasn't my fault.
Friends - I have none. Pathetic isn't it? I thought Amelia and I might become friends, but I never see her anymore.
Family
Who are her favorite and least favorite relatives? Why?
My favorite relative was my father. He appreciated my skill and ability to fix things. He thought I was perfect just the way I was. When my father died, all I had left was my mother. And as I said above, I was never special enough for her.
Does she have any siblings?
Not that I know of. Although like all people with a troubled parent/child relationship I did fantasize that I was adopted. Who knows, maybe I'll find out something new about my family tree someday.
Places
Where does your character hang out?
I like bookstores. Anyplace where I can absorb knowledge. Bookstore, museums and the theatre are some of my favorites. I do frequent Infinity Books. I was at the fire at the Los Angeles Opera - no I didn't cause it.
What sort of place spooks her? Why?
I haven't walked into a church since I started my particular hobby. My parents were strick Catholics. I am named Gabriel after all. I think I'm afraid of what God would think of me in his house.
What is her workplace like? Does she like it? Does her office reflect her personality?
I recently opened practice as a psychologist. I have documentation that lists me as Dr. Sam Sheppard. A joke on my part using the name of a murderer as my alias. I hope the practice picks up before I get too bored.
Hobbies and Habits
What are your character's hobbies?
Puzzles, model building, mechanical toys, and oh yeah murder. I like figuring out how things work - including the human brain. Maybe someday I'll learn how to look inside without cutting people's skulls open, but for now I like my method just fine.
Does she read for fun? What books does she read? What magazines and newspapers?
I have little time for reading fiction. With my incredible memory, I've taken to reading as many non-fiction books as I can a day. I might not have a degree in psychology, but I've read and memorized enough books to know how to be one. I'm sort of like that guy Jarod from the Pretender now.
Does she read the paper every morning? Which section does she read first? Which doesn't she read at all? What does she do with the paper when she's done with it (compost, trash, recycle, give to a neighbor, line the bird cage)?
I also read several newspapers daily to keep up to date. I read it cover to cover starting at the front page and cycling through. I don't always read the want ads, but the personals can be fun. I've even found avictim project in there. I throw them out. Sometimes I set them on fire.
What's her favorite channel and why?
I like Court TV now TruTV and Discovery Investigation. The more I can learn about crime, the better I can commit them without getting caught. I think it's important to rely on my brain as much as my powers. Did you know that you can tell how hot a fire was by the color of human bones burned by it? It's fascinating.
What's her taste in music?
I like opera, classical, and techno.
Fears and Dreams
What did your character want to be when she grew up? Did she realize that dream? If not, why not?
I wanted to be a baseball player, but my mother being an over protective hen wouldn't let me play sports.
What nightmares does she have? When she wakes up screaming in the middle of the night, what does she see?
In my nightmares I hear my mother calling me. I hunt for her with snow nearly drowning me. Then I discover that I'm trapped in one of her hundreds of snow globes.
What makes her cry?
The last time I cried was when my mother rejected me. I didn't cry when she tried to kill me.
What does she wish she could do that she can't? Is there a talent she wishes she had?
Well that's the real trick isn't it? It's all about getting the gifts to make me more than a human being. I am the next step of evolution. But the power I want the most - Peter Petrelli's ability to just absorb powers from others. That is one trick I have got to get.
If...
If she could change the world in only one way, what would it be?
I'd be the hero and not the villain.
If she knew she would die tomorrow, what would she do today?
Go to confession, then go out in the street and take as many people with me as I could.
Past History
Where did your character go to school?
I went to public school in Queens until my parents put me into Catholic School. We didn't have the money for me to go to college. I did win a scholarship, but before I could use it my father died. I had let the scholarship go, so that I could run his shop and support my mother.
Was she picked on or bullied? Was she a part of the "in" crowd? Why? How has this affected her?
I was a geek. I wore thick glasses. My mother walked me too and from school long past the proper age to do that. I was picked on and bullied all the time. I don't think a week went by when some bastard didn't kick the shit out of my to steal my lunch.
What jobs has she had?
I worked for my father and in other shops around the neighborhood where I grew up. The only real paying job I ever had was when I took over my fathers clock shop.
Home
What kind of neighborhood does your character live in?
I grew up in Queens. I had New York right outside my doorstep, but very little time to enjoy it. I was always too busy taking care of my mother.
Does she live in an apartment or house?
Right now I'm sharing a beautiful mansion in the Hollywood Hills with Azkadelia. It is opulent. And it isn't as if the original owners can come back for it.
Possessions
Does she keep a journal? What sorts of things does she write in it? How often? Where does she keep it? What would she do if someone read it?
I would love to keep a journal. But let's face it. That would be evidence. We can't have that now can we?
The Physical Details
Does your character have birthmarks or scars? How did she get them?
I have many scars from the torture Noah Bennett and the Company put me through. They treated me like a frog in a biology class. They didn't care if they were hurting me or not. They just wanted to see how I worked.
Personal Touches
What's your character's sexuality? How certain is she of it?
I'm very straight. I have a fondness for dark haired women with dark eyes.
What does she like to eat?
My favorite food is pepperoni pizza. There's this pizzaria in Queens that makes the best. I miss it. I tell you when I get Nathan Petrelli's flight, I'll be flying coast to coast for that pizza.
What does she wear? What styles and colors is she partial to? What's her favorite piece of clothing, and why?
I like wearing stylish clothes. Dark colors are preferable. My favorite piece of clothing was my pea coat. I miss it. I think it made me look scarier. I need a new one.
Is she religious or spiritual? Why or why not? What religion?
I'm Catholic. And I think I'm still very religious. As I said above, I'm a bit afraid to go into a church. If I can have godlike power, what kind of power does God actually have?
