Usually I'm plotting my next murder. It takes a lot of preparation to go from one Podunk town to the next to find someone with that certain something that makes them special. Texas was the worst though. Christ if it wasn't for the pancakes at the Burnt Toast Diner, I'd nuke the entire state, and be doing the world a favor.

It's a small, small world. I found out that although California is a huge state that the same circle of people will inevitably meet. One of my real life best friends is [livejournal.com profile] winterbubbletea. I've known her for going on 4 years now. We have spent many a night geeking out on Star Trek, and we've been each other's salvation through a few periods of insanity. I was even at her graduation when she got her MA in Education. My sister and I drove up from San Diego for the event. Dear god it was hot out on that lawn at Cal Poly that day.

I met a lot of her friends including - [livejournal.com profile] oshunanat aka [livejournal.com profile] ikillforihop - at the graduation. We even talked, and my sister has even spent a day with her at Disneyland. I just think it's funny how tiny the internet is. How you can quite accidentally meet the same people in the flesh that you do on line years later.

Funny how that works isn't it?
