“We’re closed. You were supposed to leave ten minutes ago. Now I’ll have to unlock the doors to let you out.” The clerk tapped his foot and rolled his eyes, puffing out his chest so that his name badge bobbed up and down. Gabe and I were holding a basket of cookies and some fruit. Raymond let out a sigh and pointed at the clock on the wall.

“Your clock is running three minutes fast,” Gabe pointed out and gave Raymond a smile. “Couldn’t you let us pay for this before we go? Sylar is really hungry tonight.”

“I am starving.” I looped my arm around Gabe’s shoulder and gave him a kiss on the ear. Raymond’s eyes widened registering that it wasn’t quite the normal touching that twins do. “But I think I might need more than cookies. I might need some blood.”

“Blood?” Raymond stepped back, his eyes darting around the empty grocery store. I could almost read his mind while he wondered where the rest of his crew was.

“They’re tied up I’m afraid, but they’ll be fine. They didn’t have anything we wanted, but you, you’re different.” With a flick of my wrist I send a stack of canned cranberry sauce at Raymond. He shrieked and dashed away, trying to hide behind one of the check-out stands.

Gabe came up from the other side and yanked Raymond off his feet into the big plate glass windows. The glass vibrated from the impact, but they didn’t break. We weren’t trying to break them, we needed to break Raymond. We had to see what he could do.

The grocery clerk raised his hands and a glittering spray of glass shards hit us both. They were sharp, and I hissed as they cut into my cheeks and a piece got in an eye before I could block it. Gabe got blasted too and cried out, covering his face while letting Raymond drop back down to the ground. With a cry of relief, Raymond took off running toward the back of the store.

“I think he pissed himself,” I said as I licked some of my own blood off the corner of my mouth. “You OK?”

“I’m fine and now we know what he can do. Game on, Sylar.”

“Game on, Gabe.”

We moved together in perfect harmony. I could see Gabe coming down the other aisle while I grabbed a bag of M&Ms from a shelf near me. Each movement was reflected in the anti-shoplifting mirrors that were stretched across the ceiling. Gabe glanced up at the mirror at the same time I did, catching me watching him and smiled. I was in hunter mode but my heart still skipped when our eyes met. I was pretty sure that his did too.

There was a crash as our prey knocked over a display of plastic soda bottles. The two liter containers hit the ground hard, a few of them popping open while their contents sprayed out in a cascade of sugary froth while others hissed like snakes where their seals cracked. Raymond whimpered and scuttled backwards on all fours until his back hit the dairy case and he climbed back to his feet.

Gabe sent a small jolt of electricity down the aisle, obliterating a few cartons of yogurt. Hot yogurt splashed and covered the wall and Raymond, who screamed and ran in the other direction, coming toward the aisle that I was hiding in.

I popped the last handful of candy into my mouth, then froze the bag of M&Ms and poured them on the floor. When little Raymond came around the corner, he was too terrified to notice me or the frozen candy. His feet hit the candy coated chocolate covered peanuts and he lost all traction. They shot out from under him and the back of his head hit the tiles so hard that a pool of blood started to spread.

“I think I broke him, Gabe,” I said as my younger self came strolling toward us. I crouched down and pushed the prey’s eyelids up to see if he was conscious.

“Sylar, if you keep breaking your toys Santa won’t bring you anything nice this year.” He hunkered down on his heels on the other side of the special and checked his pulse. “Wasn’t the point to keep him running until he got tired or used his power again?”

“I know, but when he came running right at me I had to improvise. Besides it gives us more time to slice him open and get the toy surprise inside.” I almost picked up one of the candies from the floor to pop it in Gabe’s mouth, but I knew he’d freak if I did that. So instead I dabbed some of the prey’s blood on Gabriel’s lip and sucked it between my teeth, then slid my tongue into his mouth to share the chocolate I’d been eating.

After returning the kiss, Gabe frowned at me. “It’s just that if we wanted him down this easily, I would have hit him with electricity. The game’s over too soon, Sylar.”

“I’m sure we’ll find a good way to make up for any fun times we missed.”

With a thought, I sent our prey sliding back the way he came over the heavily waxed floor until he was sitting dazed against the dairy case. Burning yogurt was still sizzling from Gabe’s strike as we approached. I grabbed a fistful of the guy’s hair and held his head in place while I cut. Raymond came too enough to beat his heels against the floor as the pain registered and his eyes opened. One good yank and the top of his skull came free.

“So, do you think it was glass shards because I was holding him against the window?” Gabe asked.

“I don’t know. I guess we’ll have to see what we can do. However it works he didn’t seem to have much control over it. After you,” I said, slipping back so Gabe could take his power first. I looked into my partner’s dark eyes. They were blown black with want and need and there was no glimmer of the annoying guilt that flared up in him from time to time. That guilt was what made him Gabriel while I was Sylar. I loved him but sometimes it annoyed the fuck out of me, especially when we both needed to kill and he didn’t want to. But fortunately tonight wasn’t one of those nights.

His fingers slipped into the special’s brain, and I couldn’t tear my eyes away from how delicious Gabe looked covered in blood. I could feel his hunger and how good it felt to be giving into it. When his eyes closed, and he made the power his, I slid my fingers in besides Gabe’s. The special’s blood and brains slick and warm as I sought the source and shared the prize. Gabe’s fingers tangled with mine as we pulled free and then he kissed some of the blood from my hands.

“Home now,” I said; my voice rough with want. Reaching up, I ran my fingers over his cheek, leaving a smear of blood that I leaned over to lick away. “Want you.”

“Good,” he said, porting us home with a blink of his eyes.

“Christ I’m so glad you took that power from me.” We arrived in the bathroom, and we started tearing off each others’ clothes without a moments delay. The hunt, the kill, all that blood had us both wound so tight we were about to snap and the only thing we want now is each other.

“Yeah, me too.” His fingers fought with my jeans and he growled as I reached down to help him. “Too many clothes, Sylar, why are you always wearing too many clothes?”

“Because if I went hunting naked, you’d frown,” I teased and pressed him against the wall as I stepped out of my jeans. His pants came off easier than mine, and I loved the noises he made when our cocks touched. “Maybe next time.”

The water in the shower turned on, and I knew he did that too. My head is filled with nothing but the taste and touch of him, but Gabe could always manage to still use his powers. People never believe me when I say he’s more dangerous than I am. I loved the look on their faces when they found out I was telling the truth. The geek has teeth, and he likes to use them.

Steam clouded the mirrors as I pulled Gabe into the shower with me, hot water pounding down on us and washing the blood and brains from our hands. We were still kissing, fingers twined in each other’s hair and our bodies pressed tightly together. There is no one else for me. No one that I can trust and be free with like I can with Gabe and he is everything to me.

“You’re thinking too much,” he said, then bit down on my shoulder hard enough to make me yelp and draw blood. “I know you love me.”

My fingers run down Gabe’s back, leaving a trail of scratches that made him hiss. No more words, at least none for the moment. Cupping his ass, I pulled him close and then pressed him against the shower wall. His head hit with a thump and I got a glare in return, but it was OK. I used my power to fly the lube from where it was tucked between my shampoo and Gabe’s and poured some into my hand, careful to keep the water from washing it away.

As I teased his entrance, Gabe hooked his leg around my hips and gripped my shoulders with a sigh. His mouth covered mine, kissing me hard as I slipped one and then two fingers inside of him. He moaned into my mouth, scraping his teeth over my tongue to urge me on.

I kept teasing and stroking him until he was ready, then finally guided my cock into his tight ass. My head rolled back and it was my time to moan as he squeezed around me. Gabe’s teeth flashed before he bit my throat and worried at the spot, leaving a bruise that vanished much too fast. I was leaving bruises of my own as I grabbed him and lifted his feet off the floor so he could wrap both legs around me, pulling me in deeper with each thrust. Gabe reached between us and started to stroke at his cock, matching my rhythm. We were gasping and growling, kissing and biting as we drove each other closer and closer to the edge.

My brain was shutting down. My empathy overloading from the emotions we were sharing through our bond. It was a never ending circle of passion and pleasure; I never wanted it to stop. My hips started snapping harder, Gabe’s hand moving faster and it was getting so fucking hard to even breathe. Gabe’s teeth clamped down on my throat and I gave a low moan. My hips started to move erratically as that last bite pushed me over the edge. One last slam into Gabe and I tried to get as deep as I could, but it was too late. When I came, Gabe came with me; both of us crying out, and my vision went white as I lost control. We held onto each other. Clinging and sharing every single sensation until we could catch our breath.

“I love you,” he said, looping his hands behind my neck while I kept him supported against the wall.

“Always Gabe, always.” I nuzzled his neck and held him until the water finally ran cold.

Thanks for reading. Comments to my LJ, please, and Merry Christmas!
